Why homeowners choose Pannello
Three things that separate a
Pannello project from the alternatives.
European craft.
Doors, fronts, and finishes from European manufacturers — Senosan, Alpi, Arpa. 18mm E1-rated carcass, thin reveals, flush fronts. The look of European architecture, not American residential tradition.
Local speed.
We fabricate carcasses in our DC-area shop. European parts, local construction — 3–5 weeks instead of 12–16. No waiting on a container from overseas.
Drawn first.
Full CAD elevations drawn before anything is built or quoted. The drawing becomes the specification, and the specification is exactly what you receive on install day.
What DC homeowners say
"Pannello drew our Georgetown kitchen the way an architect would — full elevations, real material samples. The finish quality is something you have to see in person to understand."
Lauren O.
Homeowner · Georgetown
"Four weeks of fabrication, four days of install. Clean, on time, finish quality matched what we specify for clients in our own design practice. They are on every project going forward."
Marc D.
Interior Designer · Dupont Circle
"We had eight contractors quote our McLean closet program. Pannello was the only one that drew it before quoting it. What was delivered matched the drawings exactly."

Common questions
What DC homeowners ask before their first visit.
How long does a custom kitchen project actually take?
3–5 weeks of fabrication after you approve the final specification, plus 5–8 days on site for installation. Most DC shops quote 8–12 weeks because they import finished boxes from Europe. We fabricate carcasses locally using European doors, finishes, and hardware — that's the difference.
Do you design bathroom vanities and bath cabinetry?
Yes, bathroom vanities are standard scope. Same finish library — matte lacquer, Fenix NTM, wood veneer — and the same in-house installation crew as our kitchen program. Wall-hung and floor-standing configurations available.
What areas do you serve in the DC metro?
Washington DC, Maryland (Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Silver Spring), and Northern Virginia (McLean, Arlington, Falls Church) — within 30 miles of our Georgetown showroom on Wisconsin Ave NW.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes, completely free and no obligation. 90 minutes at our DC showroom: you walk full-size door samples, hardware, and finish surfaces, we take preliminary dimensions if you have them, and you leave with a written outline of next steps and rough scope.
Do you use subcontractors for installation?
No. The same in-house Pannello crew installs every project — the same people who drew and built it. One point of contact from first visit to final walkthrough. No handoffs, no surprises.
